It's time to spread the love! Follow along to learn how to create your own pet-themed card for Valentine's Day.
Step 1: Choose a Valentine's Template
Open BeFunky’s Graphic Designer and select your favorite pre-made Valentine’s Day card template. You can find this category under Holidays or by typing "Valentine's Day" into the search bar. Click on a template to preview it and select Use This Template to get started.
Step 2: Upload Your Images
Once you've decided on a template, it's time to get customizing. First, we're going to delete some of the graphic elements to make room for a photo.
To upload your own photo, simply drag and drop it from your desktop onto the canvas. Alternatively, you can select a photo from your Image Manager. We want to customize our doggo with an Artsy effect, so we're going to direct our attention to the Image Properties menu.
Step 3: Customize It!

Next, we're going to layer an Artsy effect onto our image by clicking Edit Image from the Image Properties menu. Experiment with all of our great photo effects and filters to give your Valentine's Day card a unique touch.
In addition to any photo effects, you can also experiment with graphics, frames, and other features of the Photo Editor. Apply a heart-shaped overlay, layer a rosy vignette, and more. Once you're done customizing, click Done Editing Image to head back to the Designer.
Step 4: Add Your Personal Text
To customize the text of your card, simply click on a preexisting text box to open the Text Properties menu. Add heartfelt messages like “Purr-fect Valentine” or “You’ve Paw-sitively Stolen My Heart.”
Step 5: Save / Print for Sharing!
Save your Valentine's Day card as a PDF for printing, PNG for digital sharing, or take advantage of our in-app printing service to get a professional-quality card delivered to your door.
