Ham-n-Mule’s Funky Take On Custom Cards
It all started when Claire Grantham was searching for a wedding card. The designs were all disappointing, so she decided to start making cards her own way. Thus, Ham-n-Mule was born to create cards that are unique, fun, and personal. After ten years of designing her own cards, Claire now sells her creations out of a shop in the East Village of New York.
“Ham-n-Mule was born because people wanted to buy my stuff and I thought a 'brand' would be fun and might have a future. The name came from an amalgamation of my maiden name and my husband's nickname (Hamilton+Mule).”
Claire uses the BeFunky Designer and Photo Editor to customize nearly every card she makes. The photos she edits are made into cards for weddings, holidays, and so much more. She also uses BeFunky for applying effects to photos she uses for scrapbooking and personalizing gifts for friends, as well as for editing photos on her blog.
“I was searching for an online program that would be great for colour balancing, cropping, and applying effects to my photos. I wanted it to be inexpensive and easy to use. BeFunky came up top in the search and I haven't used anything else since.”
