How to Turn a Photo Into a Mosaic Online Using BeFunky
Ready to convert a picture into mosaic tiles? Just follow the 4 steps below!
Step 1: Open Your Photo
Head to the Mosaic category and open the image you want to turn into mosaic tile art. Our Mosaic effects are located in the Artsy tab.
Step 2: Select and Customize Your Effect
Click on each Mosaic effect to sample how it looks when applied to your photo. You can adjust the strength of the mosaic art effect using the corresponding slider. Additionally, you’ll notice three buttons: Settings, which allows you to alter the effect further; Cancel, which cancels the selected effect; and Apply, which applies the effect as-is.
Click the icon on the left-most side to open the Settings menu. You then have the option to customize the hue and color blend, as well as to preserve the original colors of your photo.
When you’ve finished making your adjustments, click Apply.
Step 3: Save Your New Photo to Mosaic Artwork
When you’re finished, select Save at the top of the screen and then choose the best destination for your new mosaic tile art.
If you’re going to keep this a digital file, select JPEG. If you want to print this out to frame, select PDF > Print.
