Get More Leads With These Real Estate Flyer Templates
Flyers might be the most traditional form of real estate marketing, but did you know that they’re also still one of the most effective? According to research, consumers engage with up to 96% of direct mail they receive. Direct mail also has 35% better recall than social media advertising and 49% more than email, so it leaves a longer-lasting impression on consumers.
That’s not all though; according to the Data & Marketing Association, 92% of people have been driven to online or digital activity as a direct result of receiving mail. This might include visiting a real estate agent’s website, viewing a property for sale online, or completing an inquiry form, for example.
There’s no denying that flyers are the lifeblood of any real estate agency, yet they can be time-consuming and somewhat costly to create. Thankfully, BeFunky’s Flyer Maker makes it easier (and cheaper) than ever before to create your own real estate flyers – no design experience necessary!
Our Graphic Designer has tons of templates for marketing your real estate business, from social media templates to real estate postcards, brochures, and so much more! Just head to the link below and search "Real Estate" to see all of these amazing templates available.
How to Create a Real Estate Flyer With BeFunky
Ready to try your hand at making your own real estate flyer? To get started, click on this link to head to the Flyer Maker.
Step 1: Choose a Real Estate Flyer Template
Choose a flyer design that takes your fancy, then just click Use This Template to begin.
Step 2: Replace the Existing Images
You’ll want to swap out the flyer template’s existing images for ones representing the property you wish to market. To do this, click on any existing photo and an Image Properties panel appears. Click Replace, then select your desired photo from your computer. Repeat this process for every photo you wish to swap.
Step 3: Add Your Own Text
Next, it’s time to edit the existing text on the template to reflect your own details. Simply double-click on a text box and begin typing whatever you want it to say. When you click on a text box, a Text Properties panel also appears. From here, you can adjust elements such as the Font, Size, Text Color, Spacing, and more.
You can also change the background color of text boxes, if you wish. Start by clicking on the text box to bring up the Text Properties panel. From here, click to expand Background, then click on the Color swatch to open the Color Chart. You can then choose a color from the Color Chart, type in the color’s specific HEX Code, or use the Eye Dropper Tool to select a color already present in your design.
Step 4: Change the Template’s Background Color
If you want to change the background color of your entire template, navigate to Customize in the main menu on the left and select a color swatch of your choosing. Similarly, you can click on the first color swatch (the one with the dropdown arrow) to open the Color Chart, type in the color’s specific HEX Code, or use the Eye Dropper Tool.
Step 5: Save Your Real Estate Flyer
Once you’re happy with your real estate flyer design, it’s time to save it. Click on Save at the top of the screen, then select your desired save location. We recommend saving your flyer as a PDF file in Print quality so it’s the highest quality possible for printing. Additionally, you should consider the Save as Project feature to save your flyer as an editable file that you can adjust in the future.

As you can see, creating a lead-boosting flyer for your real estate business is simple. All it takes is a few minutes of your time and some straightforward tweaks!
4 Qualities of a Great Real Estate Flyer
Need some additional inspiration for your design? Let’s take a closer look at the 4 important elements every real estate flyer should have.
1. High-Quality Photography
We’ve all heard the saying “a picture tells a thousand words”, and when it comes to selling properties, this couldn’t be truer. Potential buyers will first connect visually with a property, so it’s important that you use your flyer to showcase eye-catching and prominent photos of the home’s best assets.
We recommend featuring just 4-5 photos in your design, as any more may leave the viewer feeling overwhelmed. Don’t forget to make these photos as vibrant and as eye-catching as possible too, as surveys show that this can boost sales by up to 80%.
2. Useful House Details
Once a potential buyer has been attracted to the property visually, the next thing they’ll want to know is additional details about the home, including how many bedrooms, bathrooms, and car spaces it has.
Along with these house details, don’t forget to mention other important information, such as about its location, which schools or attractions are within the vicinity, and anything else that may just convince a person to buy it.
3. Professional, Easy-to-Read Layout
Now, unfortunately, if you don’t have an easy-to-read layout, the important details you listed from the previous section may not even get read! Keep your designs professional, clean, and clear with plenty of white space around text and images.
This breaks each element up and allows for easy viewing. Try to avoid large chunks of text, difficult-to-read text colors, and photos that don’t seem cohesive when placed near one another.
4. Easy-to-Find Contact Information
Sure, you might be marketing a property, but you’re marketing your real estate business too! Ensure your details, including your contact information, are in an easy-to-find spot so potential buyers can get in touch with any questions.
You never know, someone may even be looking to sell their property and are in the market for a real estate agent.
